Why does it feel so good to stand under cascading water? The answer may well surprise you. Your thoughts so often run amok. They run to the past, where you focus on painful memories. They flit to the future where you fear the unknown. So seldom do they rest in the present where you enjoy peace. The feel of water coursing over the body brings awareness TO the body. It brings you to the present moment. It causes you to simply BE. You are focused on the pleasant sensations rather than the chattering of the monkey mind which takes your hand and leads you astray. This centering effect is why so many so often receive insights whilst taking a shower. Now you know why. The body is a beautiful tool for centering. Make peace with it as you enjoy our double meaning.
You are so very loved.
Thank you
Amazing reading for me this morning. Explained why I long for a warm shower at night that always relaxes my mind and body for a good sleep. I feel centered and at peace. Thank you, Sanaya.
Sorry to ask, but I’m feeling a little dense: I don’t get the “double meaning”. Can anyone help me out here?
Yes! The guides’ message today is about finding peace by focusing on the body’s sensations. So the first meaning is you are making peace/creating peace within with the body. And as you find peace, the second meaning becomes clear: So many have a hard time loving their bodies, so this helps us “make peace with our bodies”/come to love our bodies. Blessings!
I’m feeling very compassionate about my thoughts, mind and body. I love me. And you. Thank you.
Same as Melissa :-(
…. and I’m specialised in text analysis!!
Where is the pun please?
Anyone gets it?

Thanks so much Suzanne and Sanaya :-) I was focusing on the paradox of the body, … disparaged and dismissed for centuries by the Mind (in Western philosophy) now becoming the stabilising pillar, …the place of BEing and congruence (that’s how I read centredness) … Before I knew it, I was off analysing, my mind busy constructing, recalling and comparing concepts… and that’s how I missed the message around PEACE.
Sanaya must be having a good laugh? However, lesson learnt! And I won’t be forgetting this one easily. With love?
When I read this yesterday I saw a third meaning which was to use our bodies to make peace with others.
I read these messages every day and they always help me to start my day with a more positive attitude. Thank you Sanaya and Suzanne.
Thank you, Suzanne. Such a beautiful message, as you’ve explained it. Thanks!
