“What is your spiritual practice?” Perhaps you have been asked this. And perhaps you have answered that you meditate or do some other such activity that helps you feel closer to your Source. This is all well and good, but how about an idea? What if Life itself is a spiritual practice and you are the spirit practicing? Practicing what? Being the presence of love. In this case, to practice does not mean to work at it until you do better. Of course that is a laudable goal. What is meant by “practice” is to simply carry out a task, such as “practicing medicine.” Being love is what you do most naturally, for you are, indeed, spirit in a body. Now simply make this your conscious practice moment by moment.
You are so very loved.
Incredible synchronicity! You could call it a flash into another life or lucid dreaming as I saw myself as a young monk tending the crops before I woke up today. I had that distinct knowing that I was learning exactly this: to live in awareness, contemplative moving meditation, finding the Oneness with the soil, the plants, the water, the sun, and even the bugs.
Beautiful!
I hear my niece is learning to garden in heaven. Imagine the wonderful teachers there too and the avid students, full of eager openness to learn. No wonder heaven is described as having an unmistakable brilliance. No wonder they know of what we are capable. And, no wonder we believe them. The hearts of our souls remember the connections and the resulting beauties we discovered there, and then, we aim design to replicate.
That is profoundly beautiful and so very good for us all.
The timing of this message, yet again, is mind blowing. Just this morning I was thinking about this exact topic and came to a similar conclusion. The validation is amazing. Thank you Suzanne & Sanaya
Thank you for that. I feel guilty when people ask me about my meditation. I do it occasionally, but it does not seem to work for me the way people say it works for them, so I am happy to read this. I definitely “practice” my spirituality on a daily basis.
Thank you for this inspiring message, listening to these words makes me realize how blessed I am and motivates me into Joy, I choose to be in Joy and Love !
Thank You Suzanne and Sanaya
