I had a surreal, attention-getting, “Isn’t that interesting!”
moment today.  We were traveling from
Gallup, New Mexico, to Flagstaff, Arizona.
Ty was at the wheel of the coach and I was in the passenger seat.  I was deeply engrossed in working on an
upcoming presentation and glanced up when Ty said we were stopping at a rest
area for him to stretch.  Out of the
corner of my eye I saw motion.  I glanced
out the right window and am not sure what words flew out of my mouth, but I
know I reacted physically as I saw a tractor trailer headed straight at me
going 75 miles per hour, about 1 second from impact.  I barely had time to think, “I’m about to
find out what the Other Side is like.”

In a split second during which I felt no
fear, the truck disappeared beneath me, speeding under the overpass that we were traveling
across.
I had not realized that Ty had
left the highway and was crossing over it.
In response to my unexpected outcry, he gasped and yelled,
“What happened?!” I put my hand to my chest and when I realized I was still in
this dimension, I described to him the frightening optical illusion.  The incident gave me some interesting things
to ponder for the next hour or so as I recalled how many of those who have
passed tell me in my sessions that their transition was just like passing
through a door.  I had the distinct
sensation today that they are right, but I’m happy to be sharing this with you
from this dimension this evening.
It’s good to be settled in as I write this at a nice campground with the physical sight and smell of pine trees all around us.  In anticipation of so many loving friends telling us to be careful out here, trust me, we say, “Safe travels,” every time we get underway.  We love you, too.
