You have moments of knowing who you are as a soul, do you not? You feel free, open, at peace, content, connected. You know you are guided. And then you slip back into the restricted awareness engendered by believing you are only the role you have been playing with all of its doubts and fears. How to find the happy medium? Remind yourself again and again and again that you are both both both human and soul and that you can be both at the same time, shifting perspective as you become aware of restriction and constriction and sliding back down into peace.
You are so very loved.
This strikes a chord, I think most of us can relate. Another good one Suzanne !
Part of our reaching toward growth, IS in the restricted awareness. IT IS the restriction that is fighting to re-connect with the awareness. That sounds ass-backwards, but it is not.
The brain and the mind are not the same thing. Our BEING becomes so frustrated suffering our “BRAIN-LIFE” that our mind, extends itself to reconnect to HEART-LIFE.
MEANWHILE, our brain is in its function-mode, caring for the body as it is “programmed” to do… …but it is, in that programming space, reaching, to make life easier by being more productive on very physical matters.
As the brain and the mind are both reaching, the brain will always sound more “practical” while the hearts’ reaching has little to do with brain productivity, and much to do with growing the life of all hearts, not just its own.
Do you know the natives’ story of the of the grandfather who told his grandson of two wolves fighting all the time. One dark, one bright. Grandfather said, “We humans are like that – we are all of two thoughts.
Then the boy had asked, “…but grandfather, – Which one wins?”
Grandfathers’ reply was, “The one you feed”.
Well yea, it IS like that but that is not all it is.
What comes from being fed?
Its not always practical, but it IS ALWAYS worth doing no matter how minuscule, no matter how grande, no matter how quick, no matter how enduring we need be. Get it done. Then you’ll know what came from being fed as the mind recognizes the heart again.
