Polished

Imagine finding a sparkling diamond amid a pile of stones.  What a treasure!  It stands out for the glint of light.  Its facets are like a polished mirror, while
the stones around it are too rough to reflect the light and catch your
attention.  Diamonds are valued because
they are so rare.  All of you are facets
of a brilliant Jewel, yet most are not yet polished—works in progress are they
now.  Those who reflect the light stand
out and catch others’ eye.  Value
yourself.  You are a jewel.  How well polished do you wish to become?  All are diamonds in the rough.  It is your loving thoughts and actions which
bring your true beauty to the surface.
