Costumes
You see a character in a movie who resembles a large ape and you are entertained by his actions. You do not question if it is real. You allow yourself to enjoy the story. At a deeper level, you know there is an actor inside the ape’s costume, and when the costume comes off, he will go about his business, but the story remains as a pattern in awareness. And so it is with you, dear one. The body is a divine costume worn by the soul. You are fully embodied in your role, and when the costume comes off, the story remains. The costume is important. It helps to differentiate you by look and feel, but the deeper aspects are just as vital. These remain eternally. Value the body and the story, and at the same time celebrate that which carries the story forward. There is no death. Stories continue as long as they serve a purpose for the soul.
You are so very loved.
