Who Is Sanaya?

Sanaya is a group consciousness of highly evolved beings in spirit who communicate through Suzanne. They are not one personality but rather are a collective of teachers whose purpose is to help humanity awaken to a greater understanding of who we are and why we are here.

Sanaya includes both masculine and feminine energies, yet they exist beyond the limitations and labels we associate with physical life. Some members of Sanaya have experienced human lifetimes as well-known scientists, celebrities, or historical figures, while others have not lived in physical form.

Suzanne first encountered Sanaya in a meditation where they introduced themselves as a collective consciousness of her guides at a higher level. They told her, “You will write and write and write as Sanaya.”  Suzanne learned that “Sanaya” is a Sanskrit word meaning “one worth knowing,” “eminent,” “distinguished,” and “of the gods.” In Arabic, “Sanaya” means “flash of lightning.”

Sanaya shares a message rich in love, unity, and spiritual awakening. At the heart of their teachings is the understanding that we are all souls experiencing life in human form, here to grow and expand our consciousness. They emphasize that our true essence is one of pure love and interconnectedness, encouraging us to recognize the divine within ourselves and others.

The Poems

When Suzanne sat down for her morning meditation on July 12, 2009, she placed a notebook and pen in front of her. Words began flowing into her awareness, and she wrote them down as quickly as they came. Suddenly, she realized the words rhymed and the message had arrived in the form of a poem. Suzanne didn’t write poetry and this was the evidence she needed to convince her that she was not inventing the words herself.

The poems continued every day for more than a year. Suzanne didn’t know what spirit beings were speaking to her and called them “The Poets.”  On August 1, 2010, during her meditation, Sanaya introduced themselves and told Suzanne that they are a collective consciousness of guides and she will write and write and write as them. From that day forward, the communications shifted from poetry to prose that continues to this day. The year of poems can be found on the free Awakened Way app. Look on the App menu for “Poems.”

In 2010 Suzanne created a booklet of selected poems called “Messages of Hope.” She shared copies in nursing homes, hospice centers and other locations where people might find healing and peace in the words. This booklet is no longer in print, however you can enjoy the selected poems HERE in eBook format.
