
Comfort
“Oh, don’t do that!” you advise another, when there
is no grave danger of harm. You are
simply protecting your beliefs about how things should be done. Perhaps their actions may cause a bit more
work for you. Perhaps they will
necessitate you doing something outside of the norm. Is that so bad? Which will bring more peace into your
life: allowing others to be comfortable
and undisturbed or having it your way?
Is your emotional comfort dependent upon others’ actions? If so, then we could rightly shout at you, “Don’t
do that!” and insist that you change, but perhaps you would like to come to
that decision yourself.
