What happens to a tree in autumn? It prepares for the winter by preserving the flow of energy to its extremities. In so doing, the life force is cut off from the leaves. They change color, fall to the ground, and are recycled into their primal material. The tree goes into a sort of hibernation, preserving its energy until the spring when the nutrients it requires to flourish once again flow. New growth appears, and thus the cycle continues. You are like this tree. At times you must do a bit of pruning to allow for new growth. Do not worry. Energy cannot be destroyed, merely transformed. What has always been connected remains so, albeit in different forms.

You are so very loved.
