Storms come and go. When you are in the midst of a maelstrom, it holds your attention so that you forget the cyclical nature of life. And when there is good weather, so to speak, you often lose awareness of the flow. What if, instead of labeling good weather “good” and bad weather “bad,” you simply acknowledge, “Ah yes, the wind is blowing and it is raining quite heavily. This too shall pass.” In these moments of clarity, you will see how rain leads to new growth. We could go on and on with the analogy, but you get our drift. Drift, indeed, with the currents of life and mine each moment for the inherent gifts. You are so very loved.
