Here, with the hand on the belly, is the center of Awareness in all its complexity, with all its diversity … perceived here, now, through this focus, this locus, with no hocus pocus at all. That is right: There is no magic in discerning higher truths and connecting with higher realms when you shift attention away from the mind, which is quite different from the brain, and discern instead through pure knowing. Awareness. It is your most basic essence. Mind is the overlay of sensations, thoughts, and feelings to which meaning is given, taking away from the pure experience that provides the everlasting peace. But if you wanted peace, then you would not have chosen this embodied experience. The peace is still here. Always here. It can be no other way. It is finding your way back to this locus, this focus, that is your ultimate salvation.
