When another asks you to do a favor and to do so goes against your best judgment, what do you do?  Why is it challenging to say no?  First, examine why you are not saying yes.  You wish to be helpful, loving, and kind, yet “yes” is not always the proper response.  If, indeed, your “no” comes from the highest place, and not from a selfish stance, then simply respond from that heart space.  State your “no” with the same loving kindness that you would state a “yes”, were it appropriate.  You do not always have to make excuses or explain yourself.  Blame it on your heart if you must.  When you come from the heart, that heart energy dissolves barriers.  You are so very loved.  Knowing this helps you to have healthy boundaries.
