Dreams seem very real to you when you are dreaming. That is because a dream is an experience in awareness. What you call your life is oh so very real to you when you are experiencing it. This is because it is an experience in Awareness. And what is the ultimate Awareness? I AM. This Awareness is never lost, which is why your loved ones who are no longer in your physical-world-experience continue to have experiences in Awareness of their own. And because all that exists are experiences in Awareness, you remain forever connected. Talk to them, why don’t you? They hear you … in awareness that you are all souls.

Thank You, Sanaya. I sometimes speak to my deceased husband out loud. But as time got on it’s now mostly a conversation my head. Is that Awareness able to hear my thoughts?
Able to hear it, yes, generally hearing physical voice and mental discourses are no problem for those in spirit. That he *does*, in fact, hear what you say, is another matter, sometimes they’re otherwise busy or just focused on something else.
