Strike while the iron is hot. Have you thought about the meaning of this phrase? When forging an instrument from iron, it is much easier to mold it into the desired shape when the iron has been heated, warmed, and softened. The phrase means to take advantage of the optimal timing if you wish to accomplish a goal. How does this apply to you now?
Have you prepared the body—your instrument—to connect with Spirit, or do you attempt to make a connection without properly centering the self, relaxing, and clearing extraneous thoughts? Spirit communication can take place anytime and anywhere, but you are more likely to sense Presence and receive insights when you are warmed up a bit. It is not a matter of striking in this case, but pausing to breathe every so often, and as you do so, move to the heart and listen.
You are so very loved.
You find the rhythm and balance of the metal in you, be it a hard metal or soft. You hammer away only while you know you’re not extending the shape beyond your need. Once the basic shape is achieved, (which was achieved with patience,) there comes a knowing knowledge of how to fine tune. Only when a balanced confidence arrives, and an awareness as to what it means to “fine-tune”, do you proceed and achieve the desired outcome. On hot days you will suffer the heat meant for the metal, yet on cold days you welcome it… those things come with the territory you are in. Then one day, you will look at the work you have done, to find you are so thankful for the learning. With that comes the desire to learn more, to answer the questions left unanswered fir the new projects that opened up in your creative perceptions.
The blacksmith who trained me once said that if you have a beat-up vehicle, that will never travel highways again, you will have all the metal you will need for one life.
The supply comes with the territory.
It all became relative, as you can see and hear.
