Give the gift of touch. You focus so much on gifts of other types that you are missing one of the most valuable and the most readily available. What does touch say? “I care. You are valuable. We are connected.” This is a gift you can give freely, and while you are at it, gift yourself. Caress the cheek. Put your hand on the heart. Embrace yourself if there is no one to do this for you and feel the love from on high that surrounds you always. The body is a gift. Use it to deliver the same to self and others.
You are so very loved.
Growing up, loving touches were somewhat rare. Then in my early teens, a friend, with whom i often shared time for a pop, would gently clench my forearm (if i made her laugh, for example). It shocked me at first, but i could feel the sweetness. I remember thinking the “hand touch” was because her mom was Italian. (You know how Italians speak as much with their hands as their mouths.). The thing is – i realized how much i appreciated the touch. I decided to bring “the touch” home to my family. I saw the shock in each member just as i had experienced. (You’d think we were alien!) This spoke volumes. Big lessons were learned. Life relaxed that much more.
Yes –
Beautiful. “The body is a gift. Use it to deliver the same to self and others.” I forget this. Especially the self part. Thank you.
Your messages are such a blessing. Thank you. Very grateful for these reminders.
Thank YOU!
