How is it that when you behold a loved one at your celebration of their life, you innately know they cannot be gone forever? You know this, for the knowing sense is the part of you that does not die. You know that you have lived before this time in a body and you will continue on forever after it passes. Those who forget this have become conditioned to paying attention only to the human way of thinking. When the passing of a loved one awakens you from your stupor of limited human thinking, the strong bond of love which joins you reawakens you to the soul’s very presence within all beings. That which love hath brought together, no physical body’s passing can tear apart.
You are so very loved.

I did forget but now I have awakened (thanks to you). Many of these messages fit my life so well.
Absolutely beautiful! Thank you, Sanaya.
This is such a moving passage and appropriate at this time in my life
Hi Suzanne… I was scheduled to watch your lesson today but missed it and I am so sorry.
No worries – there’s a replay on the 9th! I’m sure you’ll get an email about it!
Why is it so difficult to feel love for a grandmother who would not have anything to do with me because my mother (her daughter-in-law) stood up for herself rather than bow down to the “queen” mother-in-law? Grandma spent a lot of time with her other grandchildren, but when I rode my bike to visit her she responded with “You’ll have to go home, I am busy ironing.” After her death I was able to interact with her husband, my grandfather, for which I am very grateful. How do I release the sad feelings I still hold about her even though I am now a grandmother myself?
The answer is the same for all of our challenges: Realize you and your loved ones are not only human. As Rumi said, “Out beyond ideas of rightdoing and wrongdoing, there is a field. I WILL MEET YOU THERE … at the soul level, more expansive than within our limited human stories. Meet them there and gain understanding. They were blinded to the truth of our greater existence.
Blessings to you.
This is so moving and true
