What you see in others is a reflection of what is within you. You may deny this, but if you replace “he or she” with “I and me”, you may well be surprised. Do not be afraid to look at yourself in a mirror. Each criticism is an opportunity to notice where and how you are not seeing the beautiful soul who came here to live as you in this role. You are first and foremost the soul. Are you honoring your eternal part or denying it by pointing out flaws in your role and that of others? This is ego’s ploy. Do not fall for it. Rise up, beautiful soul, and shine.
You are so very loved.

What I see in really really bad people is evil. I do not see this within me.
I do not understand the message.
Of course not, Vangie. Apply it on the local level (people you interact with and point fingers at).
I have heard that those who we have difficulty with are our greatest teachers. That has been very true in my experience but it is hard to see in real time but on reflection there is a lesson for me in whatever the “it” happens to be. It’s not about them. It is about me.
Thank you for this important insight. It reminds me to be loving and compassionate to everyone every day. Peace and blessings! ?️??
I’ve read most of your messages. This one I do not understand. I have witnesses the most cruel actions of others towards others. How is their actions a reflection of me? I know even in the most horrific times we must respond in compassion, and be compassionate towards ourselves and others. But their actions are not a mirror of me.
Humans think in all-or-nothing terms. This message is speaking not to all situations, but those most close to you, your greatest teachers.
My closest friend was murdered by her husband, he also murdered his own son and took his own life. We have forgiven him and ourselves for not seeing this outcome. Where I have compassion, it took a very long time to forgive.
Our hearts go out to all involved.
