The cause of human suffering is forgetting that you are not only human. The cause of pain and lashing out is forgetting that the Source of Love lies within all of you. The cause of evil is forgetting that this divine Love is your basic essence. And so, when you say, “We will never forget” and it refers to certain atrocities, may you honor and understand any anger or judgment you may feel from the actions of those who have forgotten who they are engendered, and may you shift the focus to never forgetting who you are, dear soul. As each human remembers this, the world heals from the inside out.
