Stitch by Stitch

Think about knitting. The very thinking about it is the first step in creation. You hold an idea in the mind which turns into an image of what you wish to create. And then, row by row, stitch by stitch, it begins to appear. And there are so many choices along the way: color, type of stitch, number of rows, and so on. And perhaps there will be mistakes, and you must unravel a bit of what you have sown. And is this not a most excellent metaphor for how you create your reality? Stitch by stitch, choice by choice. Look around you. The world you are experiencing is the result of what you have knitted with your consciousness—your choices. Knit consciously and find greater peace.
