What to Expect in a Reading with Suzanne Giesemann
A Sacred Connection
To me, mediumship is sacred work. It’s all about proving that life is eternal, that we are spirit-beings here and now and forevermore. A reading gives you evidence that your loved ones who have passed to the other side still exist in spirit. It gives your loved ones who have passed a chance to share their messages with you and to say the things they didn’t get to say while alive.
Those in spirit know the kind of evidence I hope to hear from them, and they know that my main goal is to correctly capture their essence so that you have no doubt they are present. Please do not let the outcome of the reading depend upon hearing “the one thing” that will convince you that your loved one is present.
It may not be possible for them to get certain details through. Trust me that they will do their best to let you know they are with you, but expectations about specific things they can get through may be unrealistic and leave you disappointed.
The connection is much better when the medium remains in a passive, receptive mode, passing along the information and messages those on the other side are able to get through. Every thought, every image, every feeling has a distinct frequency. Like a radio station, a medium is able to tune in to certain frequencies better than others.
Those on the other side will get through everything they are able to. It is my goal to capture their essence, their evidence, and their messages so clearly that you have no doubt your loved one is still right here and very much part of your life.
Format
Most of my readings are done by Zoom video, which provides the same connection across the veil as in person.
Duration
Sessions are scheduled for 30 minutes. Most sessions naturally complete within that time, although I allow space to continue a bit longer when the flow calls for it.
Investment
The cost of a session is $225. All income from my readings is donated to charity in memory of my stepdaughter, Sergeant Susan Marie Giesemann, USMC. You will receive a link when you schedule your session to a payment page. You do not need a PayPal account, as you can also pay the invoice by credit card.
Recording
I will record the session by Zoom and send you the recording afterwards. You are also allowed to record the session if you wish.
Important Guidelines
This reading is only for those who have arranged in advance to sit with me. Please do not have anyone in the room with you such as a friend, parents, or partner UNLESS WE HAVE AGREED TO THIS IN ADVANCE.
Unexpected participants not only affect the energy between all of us (and those across the veil), but they influence who shows up from the other side.
Who May Come Through?
I cannot promise who will come through. It could be just one person or several. You may also hear from guides and unseen teachers.
It is important not to get fixated upon just one person as the evidence is presented. Happily, we almost always connect with exactly who the sitter hopes to hear from.
If we near the end of a reading and that person has not come through, I will ask if there is anyone else you would like me to try to reach. I will do my best to reach them, but the reasons you may or may not hear from a particular spirit vary. It does not mean that they don’t want to talk to you.
Speaking Up
How much should you say in a reading with a medium? Hard-core skeptics might be tempted to give no feedback at all. This will lessen the experience for all concerned.
A reading is a three-way connection between those on the other side, the medium, and you. It is a dance of souls. If you decide to block that flow by not saying anything, your silence is like an energetic wall.
Brief responses let me know that you understand what is being shared. If you feel excitement about evidence that comes through, please share it. This adds to the energy.
If you have questions for your loved ones, you may ask them at any time once we have established a connection.
I am going to do my very best for you, but I need your help. Please come with an open mind and an open heart. The more open and loving your energy, the easier it is to establish and hold the link.

Lessons Learned from a Grateful Sitter

Oh my, what apologies I have to make to you. After listening to our recording from this morning and taking notes of everything, I realize that I committed the number one mistake when sitting with a medium.
You see, I spoke with my loved one prior to our meeting and I asked for specific mentions of certain things, because I'm such the control freak! I tried to orchestrate the entire thing! I set a completely unreasonable expectation that set both you and my loved one up for failure. I wasn't even available to HEAR some of what you said because I was waiting, waiting to hear about the specific things I wanted to hear. I know better.
I listened to the recording of our reading and scored every point afterwards. With more than 90% accuracy, Suzanne, you NAILED her.
I wasn't truly present for what was being offered. I expected you to recite, verbatim, all of my wishes so I could stop talking to mediums and finally KNOW once and for all that she still lives. You couldn't have possibly given me what I was looking for because what I was looking for wasn't reasonable, and I know that. You gave me MUCH validation that my loved one is still right here and for that, I am so, so grateful.
I just wanted you to know that you captured the essence of who she is. Oh my, how right you were! WOW! I just wanted to share this with you. As I listened to the recording, I realize that I set you up for failure! I couldn't be satisfied without the words I wanted to hear.
The truth is, you were totally on. I have already verified things from her roommate that I didn’t know and others in the family validated other things you said. I love listening to our reading and I know and believe that my loved one is in the beautiful light and is still right here.
