A group faces a painting, beholding the many colors. One group says, “Oh, look at the bright colors, how they sparkle! This is a wonderful painting.” The other group says, “Oh, look at these dark colors! This is a terrible, dismal work.” And what is the difference? Where and how they focus their attention. All of life is filled with darkness and light. Is a situation wonderful or terrible? Look at what you are focusing upon. Might you be missing the wholeness?
You are so very loved.
Ladies,
Tell Suzanne I signed up to work with Andy Byng in 2025. Best I could find. Recommended by Colleen Smith.
Yes I liked the example. So true . More positive for me
You say we are all one and this election was like a football game…how can you say that when there is a very obvious evil who wants to separate families, deportations that will hurt people and so much more damage. Yes one way is better than another
You are simply espousing a human viewpoint and angst through your words….rise higher. You see only one facet. Without “labels” (of good/evil, for ex.) we all emanate from the One. Evil is in the eye of the beholder. Be careful as you create your own reality. If you see evil instead of your brother, you will surely find it.
I understand the point about rising above the humaness and knowing we’re all one. But can we create a reality for ourselves in which we are not affected by the actions of others? Specifically, their policies?
