What a paradox: you are advised to stay present, yet in your human roles you must think ahead. It is a balancing act. Most helpful of all is to think ahead to the words you are about to say before you utter or write them. Will they be harmful or helpful? It is far too easy to move forward “on automatic”, but how has that been working for you? Thinking ahead actually requires you to be more present. Try it for a moment, for an hour, for a day, and you will find a lifetime of greater flow and peace and connection with those who benefit from your intention to do no harm.
