The still, small voice of which many speak … is it yours? In a way, yes, and in a way, Yes. It arises from within you, and yet the Source of this voice is so much greater than that which you know of as you. When you do not listen to this inner prompting that is often soft as a whisper and at times booming as if through a megaphone, you can easily go astray. When you stop paying attention to the common thoughts that go round and round within and become still, then this voice stands out, whether quiet or loud. Set the intention to be guided by this Voice which knows every hair on your head, and you will hear it more and more.
You are so very loved.
Bob Dylan wrote the lyrics to “Every Grain of Sand” and EmmyLou Harris does an exquisite job of singing to a beautiful arrangement. It is much like todays message yet with a carnal honesty… but as Dylan says. “I hear the ancient footsteps like the rolling of the sea, Sometimes i look, there’s someone there, other times its ‘only’ me.”
I’ll try to remember to post a link to EmmyLou’s best video if that. You’ll appreciate it… i hope.
This is the link, to what i think is the best recording of Emmylou Harris singing “Every Grain if Sand”. It is a studio recording so the sound is better that stage recordings. Please do have listen to Bob Dylan’s spiritual awakening to a concept he has:
