Your thoughts do determine your reality. The brain is designed to seek out a match for the thought systems in place, filtering out all that does not match the current paradigm. Have you ever put together a puzzle? So many pieces from which to choose, yet you know by the shape of a certain hole exactly which piece you are looking for. You skim right over any that don’t fit the pattern. This trait of the human being is quite useful in some situations, yet quite divisive in others. Be aware of your selectivity and your fixed beliefs. They keep you in a box, just like the puzzle. There is more than one puzzle on the shelves. Try a new one once in a while and see how that changes things for you.

Idk if this is helpful, but you might relate a lot to the main message, I get another meaning too. A considerable portion of my job includes doing things people did on the last shift, but I’m doing it more accurately and effectively, though I’m paid less than them!…
Some days are easy peasy, but today I did a ton of lifting like a weight lifter, just to fix yesterdays mistakes and set up tomorrow for success. I wonder if it’s worth my wage because I love the positive environment, which I would lose if I work at a higher wage company.
We have store-wide music and my favorite part about this job is helping customers, because they have so much gratitude!
