You read a name and then you meet a person by that name. An image arises in the mind’s eye and then you encounter this image as you go about your day. What is happening here? You may call these moments “God-winks” and it is an appropriate term for the web of consciousness revealing itself, but do not mistake the term to mean that there is an omniscient being outside of you pulling strings to orchestrate these interesting, notable moments. God-winks arise as the intersection of ripples within the fabric of being which creates the experience of you and all others moment-by-moment. It is the way the fabric reveals itself to itself as you and all others. It is a way of recognizing your aliveness and interconnectedness—your inseparability—with all and everyone that exists. In this may you find comfort and safety.
