Grief cracks you wide open. You feel emotions at a level of intensity rarely felt, and they are shocking to the system. “I cannot survive this!” you think, and yet, here you are, putting one foot before the other, surviving. Why are you still here? To experience and grow from the fullness of life. From the depths of grief, you rise higher still in your understanding  of this. If you are brave enough to question reality as things you never expected to occur do occur, then you will begin to reap the benefits of going down into the depths. All other emotions will have a new layer of meaning. Friendships with those who know your pain will be richer. And the greatest treasure of all? Your grief will have brought you to the awareness that one you thought was dead and gone is part of the oneness of life and lives forever, as do you. In finding this remembrance, you find your loved one and you find your self.

You are so very loved.
