Do you rush to complete a task or do you focus upon why you are doing it? If you do a thing simply because it has been asked of you and there is no mindfulness, we dare say there will also be little to no pleasure. Imbue your work with meaning. Remind yourself of the purpose, and you will find yourself wanting to take on more tasks rather than rush through them.
You are so very loved.
My decision-making process on that subject gets skewed. I have “a thing” about tools for this, that, and the other… tools for projects I’d like to do someday. But “someday” has not arrived so i just hang on to the tools, for when “someday” arrives. I loathe not being able to help myself in doing simple tasks that involve tools. Problem is – they take up far too much space in my living arrangements. My decision-making process jolts everytime i walk into the space when i realize stuff has seriously got to be reduced… but what goes? One would never know i love empty (or near empty) spaces…. zen type spaces but i cannot seem to live in them nor without them.
Go figure eh. 🥴
Yes. Thank you.
