You think you know what is best, and so you pray. But prayers are not always answered. Does this mean you need not pray? Not at all. It is good to recognize there is a greater reality and to connect with it, but rather than supplication, begin by affirming your trust in goodness, your faith that all is as it should be, even when you cannot see the greater picture. We pray unceasingly in the preciousness of your presence, knowing full well that Presence is that basis of All That Is. Blessed be.
My perception after decades of occasional ‘unanswered’ prayers changed when I finally accepted the existence of a Divine Plan. My
narrative after my petition now includes phrases Ike, give me courage; help me understand; provide strength and fortitude to carry on with my ‘answer.’
