At times you may feel overwhelmed. The solution is not to do more to catch up, but to do less. Sit quietly and just be present. Notice what is around you. What have you not been seeing whilst your attention has been focused on so many scattered things? You do not have to handle everything alone. Become centered with the breath and with a list of gratitude. Suddenly, you will know what is most important.
You are so very loved.
Good morning – Thank you for this… so very true.
I came across this and wondered about gratitude vs. gratefulness, as explained wonderfully in this prose. Thoughts? As much as “gratitude” has gotten much of the press, “gratefulness ” seems to be the word for me – thoughts?

Gratefulness
(Excerpt)
Gratefulness is not the same as gratitude. It seems to me that gratitude is more about giving thanks for something given to me. It is transactional. But gratefulness is a state of being, a presence of love within the heart. It is a universal quality of being much like Joy and Love. It has no reason for being other than that it simply is part of the song of our souls.
Hi Kim, Forgive me for excerpting the post – it was a bit lengthy for the blog, but given what is shown here, you point out a valuable distinction. May we all live in a state of gratefulness! Blessings.
That is so bang on. It is very kindly understated actually. The list of my undone or unfinished things is massive and hugely time consuming. Having stopped to relax with gratitude is good for the soul but the messes still need attending.
Yes, some things have priorities, and some are simply not important immediately though still need to be given attention… hooefully all will get done sometime soon.
What a wonderful gift to just “be”.
