When you go on a journey, you take certain belongings with you. Of course, it is much easier to travel lightly. What is in the luggage you carry with you on your earthly journey? How much of it is really necessary? Are there things you are fearful of setting aside? How much would you lighten your load if you admitted you no longer need that extra baggage? You can open up the case and have a look around at any time. Do so more often and you may find things you have outgrown. Taking inventory is a wise move to lighten your steps.
You are so very loved.
This one, though of course important for all ages, would be such a HUGE compliment for children to grasp. The grief that could be avoided speaks volumes. My generation seems to understand this primarily in or toward old age and then it’s about material baggage, not so much about the spiritual considerations. Never too late, but a lot earlier could have meant a great improvement for/in many lives.
