When you encounter the wake left by another boat, you steer for the best angle of approach and hold on. You can see smooth seas ahead. When you encounter a storm and the waves all around you are rough, you take all cautionary measures and ride it out, knowing smooth seas are ahead, even if you cannot see them. Is not life like both of these scenarios? At times you can see the calm that is coming and at others not, yet you know it is there. Take this higher perspective when your life is stormy and you will ride out the rough weather all the more smoothly. This is the soul’s point of view.
You are so very loved.

Thank you, Suzanne, for sharing your wonderful messages all these years. Each one speaks to me in a different way, and always so helpful. You are a blessing to me. ❤️
May we all be a blessing to each other!
My storm started over a decade ago and I see no end in sight. I am weary and need to rest but cannot.
Your assignment: Find 3 things each morning before getting out of bed for which you are grateful. Do the same thing at night. It will make a world of difference … and then realize this is not the only world. Step outside of the drama and observe how you are seeing this world. See your story with compassion yet neutrality. You are both the story and the observer. You get to choose whether to let the drama drag you down! How freeing is that!
This is a perfect message. Another approach to thinking positive when we are so sad. Thank you.
Good and helpfull message, I am in strong winds and fear a storm approaching (a daughter and perhaps dear granddaughter too with chronic Lymedisease and a husband who probably soon will be diagnosed with Alzheimers disease) and I fear the time to come, but from the soul perspective things will look different. I hope ;). And I will count my blessings: 2 sweet and helpfull sisters and a healty other daughter with 2 dear sons. Thanks for the beautiful messages of hope!
A very helpful attitude!
