Distractions abound. All around you and even within the body are sensations and objects which cause your attention to wander, even when you wish to keep the focus on one thought or one thing. What to do?  Noticing the tendency to drift is a most excellent first step. You could not notice this drifting of attention if there were not a part of the self that is able to observe the mind. You are not the limited mind any more than you are the temporary body. Return to this observing part of you when distractions threaten your peace and here you will find peace. Always and already here. AAH.
