The way a baby gazes at you with such interest … this is you at another level: curious about the world. Nonjudgmental. Aware of your total connection with all that you see. Could you but see the world once again in the way you did when first you entered this experience, once again you would experience the wonder and the Joy of it all. Clear away the clouds of human conditioning and return to the innocence of the babe. This is a choice that reverses the aging process. The body may grow older, but you are always young at heart.
You are so very loved.
Young at heart is happy at heart. We all know and remember times when the clarity of that infancy thrilled us beyond words, in our lives and/or that of another. It is, and moves us with the huge force of crystal waters cascading over us, that which is, of life’s Holy Shroud.
That picture! Perfect! The Irish call the infant’s face “The Face of God” for the absolute innocence! Thank you for this reminder. I just turned 72 and find myself gazing at the beauty all around in creation, reclaiming the innocence that is our inheritance, even when it seems lost or buried. Thank you, Suzanne.
“The Face of God” … that’s so nice.
Fantastic photo! this is real innocence and happiness without any thought! thank you Suzanne
