It is never a waste of time to go back to the basics. Why? For you miss certain things on your spiral path onward and upward. You can only hear what you are open to hearing. The brain picks and chooses what it focuses upon and then it adds those bits to your story. And what of those things you did not focus upon? They are still there, awaiting the right time. So, go back over the basics of who and what you are. Do so frequently by going into the silence and asking of God, “Who am I?” And then, set aside what you think you know. Be open to new insights. Listen. Just listen and take with you an empty cup.
You are so very loved.
Insights so precious can become your own prison, should you choose to refrain from learning, because you found a delightful comfort in which you would rather recline. Recline for a while, savour and enjoy, but always remember how you achieved to find this discovery, and stretch yourself beyond these limits for there is always more to behold.
Just think of it: You come into this world, so very unlike an empty slate… yet by the time you’re 6 or 7, your human side has pretty much taken over and henceforth you yearn for that which seems all forgotten. Your heart constantly whispers, what you think are “sweet nothings” yet they mean the world to you in uncounted ways – because – they hold the hope that someday, somewhere, someone will hear your heart sing. And when you finally believe that there is someone who does, you fall ‘head over heals’ in love and… … become more human than ever before. It was never quite what you thought it was, but it was beautiful. And sometimes, for some of us, it stays beautiful. But even for them, they begin to realize there is so much more…. and start questioning our selves. Some find it… others are clearly still searching… just as those that found it, for there is always more to seek and find. We enjoy being with like-minded, we enjoy teaching, we enjoy learning, we love Life and learn that even in “death” there is Life. And as charming or as dreadful as our stories may seem (or be), it does hold little more than candle light compared to the grandeur of the Life we come to know as that “Collective” … yet that candle light is brilliant as a star – a star amongst the heavens in which you, as part of the Collective, as as the Collective, thrives and grows ever more.
Take with you an empty vessel and a giving and accepting Heart. The journey is simply never over.
…take with you an empty cup. Spread the joy. Fill hearts.
