Valentine’s Day.  Named after a saint.  At times you joke that it takes saintly behavior to keep a relationship going.  As long as needs are being met, in most cases it is easy to love one another.  But what of the times when the self takes over?  What then?  Then discomfort arises.  What a golden opportunity to learn what self-less love is.  What an opportunity to discover that the reason you love is because you feel a connection that cannot be denied.  If you are not feeling such a connection, then one or both of you are in the human self and not the True Self, where all is connected at the most fundamental level.  In the case of the latter, everyone is your valentine today, so love with all your heart and soul.  You are most certainly very much loved.
