I often tease my husband about his penchant for sleeping on the cold hard ground. I recently had to eat my words when I ventured out for my own solo backpacking adventure in the wilderness. Was I scared? Did I learn anything? Click the link below to find out. (Spoiler alert: There are some major spiritual lessons in this story!)
What a wonderful, pure, beautiful flow of experience and insight. So much of what has flowed through you from Sanaya is encapsulated in this story – a tale within your own larger story.
Thank you for taking the time to write of the adventure in such superb detail- all without having made notes!
Blessings to you for the inspiration that you give. And blessings to Sanaya for the wisdom to stand down for a day. Your enrichment through this time in the woods enriches us all.
Ahh, yes, the oneness of Oneness.
Suzanne….
Thank you for sharing your adventure with us!! All summer long I have been living in our summer cottage on my own with my husband 12 miles away. I thought this was a ‘true’ accomplishment!!! ? Obviously…..I am no Girl Scout!!
You have made a difference in my life Suzanne. ? Thank you for opening your life to Spirit so we can all remember we are ‘Spiritual Beings having a Human Experience.’ I have just ordered more of your books and am looking forward to taking your class in November when you visit Rochester, NY.
Namaste?
Thank you, Suzanne, for sharing this incredible, insightful experience. Your heartfelt story was truly felt in MY heart. Hugs, love and best wishes to you from California. ❤️??
Sharing your solo camping spiritual experience, Suzanne, provided the catalyst that healed my ongoing physical PTS car accident related symptoms. I read your masterfully written story just before driving to Richmond a few days ago and felt the calm that has eluded me for 25 years. Bursting with gratitude.❤
Last weekend I went on a church retreat up to the Mountains.
My tee shirt said,” Don’t delay Joy”
Kept busy the whole time with activities,as this was a new experience.
One activity was an ink drawing with a stick(s). I am an artist,so this was frustrating. Anger rising,I broke the stick and started rolling the pieces to create texture . It was the best thing I could have done. I relaxed.
The flow I experience is when I am painting with colored pencils and running, moving inks.
Thank you for sharing your love of nature and its beauty
Simply Beautiful Suzanne❤️?
Thank you for this beautiful narrative and meditation. “We are the bees and the trees.” Indeed. And congratulations on getting down that bag of eggs!
